Had a lovely experience here celebrating my sister's birthday. We arrived 20 minutes early after making reservations and had to wait until our scheduled time, so we would definitely time it better for our next visit. They started us off with popcorn on the table, which, for some reason, was delicious! I ordered the short ribs over mashed potatoes with vegetables. It was perfect! The flavors blended so well together, and it was seasoned to perfection. It was a Saturday evening with good music playing, so the vibe was good. A mix between millenial/genX spot although I had 2nd gen boomers with me and it was a good time for all. I am looking forward to my next visit.

My experience at The Food Mart is always amazing but when i have Melissa as my server/bartender it is nothing short of amazing. Melissa's has such a welcoming energy and smile. I didn't know exactly what i wanted this time and i was open to food and drink recommendations. After Melissa asked my food allergies and preferences she recommended the Scallop Deluxe for my meal and the Bohemian Rhapsody for my drink and it was amazing! Ofcourse i will be back, the ambience and service is amazing !

Last night's experience was truly exceptional! To kick off our evening, we started with mozzarella sticks and fried green tomatoes. For the main course, I opted for the Caesar salad with chicken, which was a refreshing delight - the salad was incredibly fresh, and the chicken was perfectly juicy. Additionally, we had branzino, although it could use more seasoning. The establishment serves a bunch of mocktails. The ambiance was absolutely stunning, with a particularly charming outdoor bar that enhanced the overall atmosphere significantly. The service surpassed all expectations. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and ensured our needs were met throughout the evening, further enhancing our dining experience.

Impromptu lunch date at the Food Market in Columbia with my two favorite guys, my son and husband. I made a quick reservation shortly after opening. We were seated quickly, and our server was very attentive. My guys thought they would have the breakfast/brunch menu, but that's only available on Saturdays and Sundays. We ordered my favorite, which is the crispy lobster fingers. The kid had chicken tenders and fries. Unfortunately, fruit as a side is only offered during breakfast. I tried the BBQ salmon salad, removing the pickled jalapeño and bacon. My husband tried the grilled cheese birria. My salad was an 8/10. I didn't care for the BBQ sauce--it was tart, tangy, and bitter. However, I loved the homemade crispy onion; it elevated the dish. My husband enjoyed the birria, sharing that the meat was tender and seasoned. The portion was perfect, and he didn't feel overly full. We didn't partake in any adult beverages, but we did order the famous Gucci lemonade--highly recommend it. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to visit for brunch, so trying them for lunch was an adjustment, but I will do it again in the near future.
